Petr Studnicka

Coach Petr is a seasoned international hockey coach with unique experience in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Norway, Canada, and the United States. He has spent several years coaching the exceptionally successful U18 Czech National Team.

Throughout his career, Petr has worked with many players on their developmental paths to the NHL. Among those he has coached Martin Necas, Philip Chitin, and many others NHL talents.

Career Highlights

Celebrated for his expertise in hockey skills development, Petr Studnicka is a long time international hockey coach with specialized experience in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Norway, Canada and the United States. In his extensive years with the Czech National Team, Petr was mostly involved with the U18 category, competing at the international level, including Hlinka Gretzky Cup and the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) World Championships. He is currently coaching in Lillehammer, Norway, and is highly impactful leading young talent through the developmental pathway into professional levels, working
individually with select players from the Czech Republic, Finland, Slovakia, Norway and Canada.

Alumni

Throughout his career, Petr has worked with many players on their developmental paths to the NHL. Among those he has coached include Martin Necas, Filip Chytil, Jakub Lauko, Jiri Kulich, Eduard Sale, Jakub Stancel, and David Jiricek, as well as Curtis Lazar, Matt Benning, Brendan Leipsic, David Pope, Aaron Irving, and Andreas Martinsen.
